ALISHA WARREN
I am a bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My clinical experience focuses on relationship issues and interpersonal conflict; family and parenting challenges, work-life balance; stress, substance use, anxiety and mood management; self-esteem, and grief counseling.
My Approach
I believe in a foundation of client-centered therapy and my approach is to create a warm, safe, and comfortable environment in which clients feel understood and comfortable exploring issues, while cultivating coping skills as they continue their self-identified journey to create positive change.
I work with adults, adolescents, and families and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as other therapeutic tools, to address each client’s specific needs. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).
